Charlie Bauer

Charlie is a lifelong athlete. He competed in many sports during his high school and college career. With the encouragement of close friends, he came to yoga looking for an alternative way to stay healthy and not abusing his body on a daily basis. Once he discovered yoga in 2007 he immediately noticed the benefits in his other athletic activities as well as off the field of competition. Charlie became a dedicated practitioner in 2009 and in 2013 trained with Kim Manfredi. While his training is rooted in the Hatha tradition his classes are influenced by a variety of different styles he has and continues to experience. His curiosity with the movement of the human body continues to drive him towards continued learning and sharing that with his students. His classes are energetic and light-hearted infused with upbeat music while including lots of twists, inversions, and different balancing poses. Students are encouraged to take the competition out of their practice and focus on their journey as a yogi. Charlie hopes to help share the many benefits he has experienced from practicing yoga and have his students leaving class feeling stronger, more energized, and more balanced.

Becky Knott

Becky started teaching aerobics and bodywork classes at age 16 for The Waist Basket (Ha!) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  For the next decade and a half she worked at a variety of venues and was the lead fitness instructor/trainer for the Intramural and Wellness Programs at Montana State University in Bozeman during her college years.  Her introduction to yoga was instructing "le stretching" during a stint in Bordeaux, France, where she worked as a fitness instructor at a club called la Salle des Champs-Elysées.

Becky began practicing yoga 10 years ago and fell in love with power flow.  Yoga greatly complimented her training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and eventually she traded time on the grappling mat for more time on her yoga mat.  In the summer of 2014, Becky completed the CorePower Power Yoga 200 hour training in Boulder, Colorado, and has additional training in Mindful Yoga Therapy for Veterans (and other individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder).  Becky is certified in CPR and is a registered member of the Yoga Alliance.

Becky currently teaches at Lakeshore Athletic Club and the Louisville Recreation Center in the Boulder area.  Her classes include yoga sculpt, power flow, all-levels vinyasa classes, restorative yoga, and cycle-yoga.  Becky loves to ride her bike in her spare time and is certified to teach indoor cycling as well.

Becky's personal mission is to make yoga accessible, enjoyable, playful, and human to anyone who wants to dive in a give it shot.  She is thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the February 2018 Puerto Vallarta retreat for Mind Body Spirit Vacations and cannot wait to bask in the sun, fun, love you all up and do yoga together in Mexico!
